When will v12 be released?

According to:

there is a migration path to v12. Does anyone know when SEPSBEv12 and SPSSBEv12 will be released?

I know that from a technical perspective that it will be possible to upgrade from SEPv11 to SEPSBEv12 or SPSSBEv12. Will there be an upgrade license from SEPv11 to SEPSBEv12 or SPSSBEv12 (a much-lower-costing upgrade license than the full retail new purchase license)?

both products should be
both products should be available now
there is no "upgrade" available from SEP 11.0 - its a "crossgrade" - you should contact your reseller for this
Bear in mind that as stated on the page you linked to, the migration path is a complete removal and reinstall, along with different functionality post move.

v12 for SEP
Hi Paul,
You mean that SPSSBE and SEPSBE v12 are completely different products? So is there any plan to "upgrade" current SEP customers to a newer version (rather than MRx line)?
Thats correct, both
Thats correct, both SBE products now contain or are, SEP Small Business Edition v12.0
SPS EE (Enterprise Edition) still contains SEP 11.x and will continue to do so until we release a 12.x version of full SEP. There are no definite timescales for that at this point in time. MR5 will contain some exciting changes around the GUP functionality though, as well as support for Windows 7 and SQL 2008.

What about my small business customers?
Over the past year or so, most of my small business customers (all of our customers have between 8 and 75 users) have upgraded from Symantec Antivirus Corp. Ed. ver 10 (SAVCEv10) to the full SEPv11, because that was the ONLY upgrade path at the time! Of course SPSSBE and SEPSBE v12 make the best sense for my customers, yet you tell me there really isn't any real upgrade path for them from a license perspective? 'Crossgrade'...what is that? In terms of cost, how does a 'crossgrade' license compare to an upgrade license? For example, if a new license for SEPv11 cost $75 per person, an upgrade license to SEPv11 costs $25 per person, a new license for SEPSBE v12 cost $60 per person, how much would a 'crossgrade' license from SEPv11 to SEPSBE v12 cost?
