  • 1.  Where is the applicability rule?

    Hey Guys,

     

    I'm going insane here, does anyone know where to find the applicability rule for a winows update patch is?

    I "resource manager" the bulletin it belongs to then expand the associations to see the patches..... and them from there I'm lost: I cannot find the rule...

     

    please help

    You can see all Rules by going to Manage > All Resources. Click on "Default" then "Filter" in the top right hand corner and make sure "Hashed Resource" > "Inventory Rule" is selected. Then just browse to Inventory Rule and see if it's listed there.

    Hey toca,

    Do You use 7.1.SP1 Patch and newer? If Yes, there is no more Applicability Rules as it was before. Vulnerability Assessment results can be troubleshooted on Client.

    You can read assessment detailed log, directly on client, which is stored in C:\Program Files\Altiris\Altirtis Agent\Agents\SoftwareManagement\Software Delivery\{6D41....}\cache\StPAtchAssessment.xml

    However, applicability rules cannot be modified in any way.
