where are the 7.0.1 installation docs

I am working on updating a Solaris x86 master/media server to 7.0/7.0.1. I have found the 7.0 installation documentation but can not find any installation documentation for 7.0.1

I even created a "Installation and Upgrade General Checklist Report for NetBackup Enterprise Server 7.0.1, Solaris 10, x86-64". Under Installation/Upgrade procedure it shows:

Install the required 7.0.1 patches.

Installation/Upgrade documentation:

I do not see any "patch" instructions in the 7.0 install guide.

What is the procedure for patching 7.0?

for the patch it just run setup.exe

this doc may give you what you are looking for.

I don't have to know how to spell....I work on Unix.

Quick 'n' dirty instructions

1. Download 7.0.1 patches and uncompress.
2. As root, execute `./NB_update.install`
That's really about it. It's much easier than installing 7.0, for sure. :)

EDIT: I see we're posting at the same time!

My instructions are better for UNIX - J.'s are better for Windows. I should also add that all of the 7.0.1 packages have a pretty good README included which basically says what we've said, but uses more words. :)

7.0.1 is considered a maintenance patch to 7.0. Its not a major upgrade, so it will be installing a patch on the master server first and then distributing the patch to the clients.

The 7.0.1 Master server patch for Solaris x64 has two dependancy patches, which is the UNIX client 7.0.1 patch and the NetBackup Java 7.0.1 patch

Download all 3 patches to the master server and run the install script.

I recommend performing a catalog backup before applying any maintenance patch, or performing any upgrade with NetBackup.
