  • 1.  Where are the activity logs of SEPM 12.1.6 located?

    Hey guys,

We're havinng issues with random unexepected error, there's not much data on the event viewers, but I recall that there's an SEP installation log for clients and apache logs for web server. Is there a log dedicated to the activity of the console itself? Or any log that might indicate the cause of unexpected error? If you can include the file paths that would be great.

    Thank you,

scm-server-0.log is the one you can look at

    Go through this article:

    Debugging Symantec Endpoint Protection Manager

It contains all info on debugging the SEPM.

One more thing, doese the client-server debbuging or apache server debugging include the sepm-database logs? I'd just checked on my SQL server and there's also no event logs showing any error or warnings.

No it would only include webservice issue logs, client-server comms issues, reporting issues, and content distribution issues
