HI,

Best way to check sep client logs

SEP client > View Logs

You can enable syslink logs

https://www-secure.symantec.com/connect/articles/how-enable-sylink-logs-registry

Thanks In Advance

why not look into the logs on SEP client GUI.

The location of the logs are

win 7 & 2008

C:\ProgramData\Symantec\Symantec Endpoint Protection\12.1.1101.401.105\Data\Logs

other

C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Symantec\Symantec Endpoint Protection\12.1.1101.401.105\Data\Logs

OK, in C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Symantec\Symantec Endpoint Protection\12.1.1101.401.105\Data\Logs which log should I see to know which component is currently blocking the client application with FTP and client application interacting with Outlook email client ?

HI,

You can view Logs on SEP client GUI

Open SEP Client GUI  -> View Logs -> All type logs are available

Or

Windows 7 machine

C:\ProgramData\Symantec\Symantec Endpoint Protection\12.1.x.\Data\Logs

Thanks....
