Where does operate endpoint security ?

    Hi,

     

    we'd like to try our bandwidth management product with antivirus servers.

    Our product is able to redirect TCP connections.

    For example we can to redirect all SMTP connections to some antivirus server which operates similarly like proxy server - it listen on some port, accept connection, check data and after successful checking it passes connection to target.

    My question is if such kind of antivirus server is part of "Symantec Endpoint Protection 11" product.

    In other words, does this product support antivirus checking on client machine, or does exist some king of proxy server which checks against viruses centrally for entire corporate network ?
