  • 1.  Where is the error log for failed client package installations

    OK here is my issue. I have SEPP11_MR4 installed on a VM 2003 Standard server. When I try to install a package to some clients the installation fails. Where is the error log for this located so I can fix the problem.

    On the client in the %temp% variable folder (hit start, run type %temp% hit enter.  I usually find them in c:\windows\temp

    In addtion to Rick's post, the file name is SEP_INST.log  :D

    No problem sir Rick, btw I will try to finish my article on how to trouble the SEP_INST.log hope to get feedbacks and suggestions.
