Something appears to have changed with how service packs are made available for downloads. All available Symantec technotes point to the File Connect site but the only things there is EV 8.0 GA only.
On the phone with Licensing team and they say it must be obtained from tech support site and are confused why they would be contacted. Now this was the way for EV 6.0, 7.0, 7.5, etc but now the tech support site has technotes pointing to Licensing\File Connect to get SP1. For example, please see this technote:

Excerpt from technote:
"The original release of Enterprise Vault 8.0 is in:
Symantec_Enterprise_Vault_8_0_Win_Multilingual.zip
The service packs are in:
Symantec_Enterprise_Vault_8_0_n_Win_Multilingual.zip
where n indicates the number of the service pack."

Hi,
I got mine indeed from the licensing portal. I was lucky to be able to find an old upgrade notification, giving me the serial and customer number...
You download one big zip file (1.1 GB, which extracts to an ISO (1.5GB)
The ISO has all EV-parts (EV, DA, CA, Add-Ons, etc.)
In itself handy, but indeed very difficult to find.
