Hi Guys,

I have a query, is it possible to find the exact definition file size for the last 10 days(Day by Day) in SEPM.

If yes, can you just tell me what is the path to find the downloaded file.

I have configured the SEPM to keep 30 days definition.

Thanking you

or

First the virus defs will be downloaded to .\all users\application data\symantec\live update\downloads.Then it will store it in \Program Files \Symantec\Symantec Endpoint Protection Manager\Inetpub\content.ContentInfo.txt in this path can give you more detailed info.

Thanks Prachand and Aravind.

I have still doubt,as i am a beginner.

Which file will be dowloading to the SEPclient????

i have seen the \Program Files \Symantec\Symantec Endpoint Protection Manager\Inetpub\content

There i can see lots of numbered folders.i am so confused.

I hope that full.zip file will be downloading to the client,i can see its around 97mb.All the 97 mb will go to client or not???

Please clarify me.....

Have you read ContentInfo.txt?.It will tell you each folder is corresponding to which update.

The full.zip will be downloaded by the client if the present update of the client is older than the oldest update in SEPM.Otherwise SEPM will create  corresponding delta file using these stored updates and will provide to client....

These files will be created only at the request of the client.

Can you tell us what is the exact problem you are facing ?

No.It can be any number. As far as I know it works like this.Suppose my SEPM having update from NOV1-Nov 10,when by client having update Nov 3 request for update,it will create a particular dax file .If another client which is having Nov 5 request requested for update will will create another dax file.

Note:For easily understanding I explained in terms of date,in fact it works in terms of revisions.
