Where I can manage log and database size ?

Created: 01 Mar 2013 | 5 comments

Hello,

We have a Symantec Endpoint Protection SBS version 12.1.671.4971 installed on SBS 2008. However in the admin section I could not find any options for log size or database maintenance and update revisions. The folder of Symantec manager is growing and this is becoming an issue for us. Can you please advise ?

Hi,

Small Business Edition (SBE) comes with limited features and support up to 250 clients.

Enterprise Edition (EE) comes with many more advanced features and support upto 80,000 clients per SEPM.

In SBE you won't find option to configure database log size.

Refer this article to learn more differences between EE & SBE

Thank you. Compacting the database saved me 1GB of space. I will have in mind for future reference that I will need extra space for the antivirus.
