Which Backup Solution Required for Exchange

Hi,
I'm trying to work out exactly what Backup Exec software I need to buy to backup Exchange. I'm 99% sure, but just want to double check I'm not buying something unnecessarily.
Looking in the Symantec Store there is Backup Exec 12.5 for Windows Servers - £736.57 and Backup Exec 12.5 Agent for Microsoft Exchange Server - £736.57.
I'm thinking that I need both of these to backup an Exchange server. The first is the base software, which will run on either the server itself, or a remote server, and the Agent enables backup for Exchange, and needs to be installed on the Exchange server!

Hey man, In order to backup
Hey man,
In order to backup Exchange, you'll need:
1 x Backup Exec license (shipping with 5 x DLO licenses; 1 x drive option; AOFO)
1 x Exchange agent
This will allow for a full backup of your Exchange server's Information Store, and any files/folders etc.
What you saw above is exactly what you need!

If you have the Small business server
than just purchase Backup exec for SBS that includes the exchange support and license, however if it is not the SBS than you would need the Backup exec for Windows servers and the Exchange agent.....
FYI if you are installing BE on Exchange server than the remote agent license which you get free with the exhange license can be used in order to backup another windows server, however if that server has other database installed on them than would need the appropriate agent in order to back it up
