After installing the Enforce server and importing a solution pack, which detection server should be installed first?

We have these available:

Network Monitor

Network Prevent For Email

Endpoint Discover

Endpoint Prevent.

I was thinking of installing Endpoint Discover first since we do not yet have a network SPAN port or tap ready for Network Monitor.

I do not think there is a sequence of Detection server to be installed. If the network span is not ready yet, you can go ahread with endpoint discover/prevent.

 no specific sequence, you can deploy detection server as you want. you can even deploy them all if u have servers ready if you are not able to plug network monitors to network span (of course u wont be able to check that everything is ok).

There is no specific order to the server installs, but we have found the Endpoint to be the most challenging.  We have around 30,000 machines and there are all kinds of strange issues with applications and DLP that we've had to troubleshoot.  Network monitor/prevent seems to be significantly easier to do, and I would recommend starting there if you are not experienced with the product.

when i install DLP i am flexible all ineed is a enforce plarform and a oracle DB. From there i have no order on what i do, i had just AD integration next to standing up all the scanners. I build out DLP as the resources i need (people) become available...

There is no sequence for installing detection servers. every server has its own separate function. you can get any detection server installed first as per your requirement
