Which product to have crypted disk on file like Truecrypt?

Created: 20 Jul 2012 | 2 comments

Hi all,

I've recently seen a Symantec product that works like Truecrypt but has some very cool extra feature like dynamic space allocation for the virtual disk file and crypting with PGP key instead of passphrase.

Which is the _minimal_ product (cheapest) that has this feature? How do I buy it? Can be done online?

Thank you very much!

That would be PGP Virtual Disk, which is a product that comes free with any of the licensed softwares.  I would purchase PGP Whole Disk Encryption, then you can get virtual disk with it.

Hi weevil, thank you for your reply.

Is PGP Whole Disk Encryption the cheapest product to include the Virtual Disk feature then?

I ask this because I managed to download the "PGP Home Destop", activated the trial license, and apparently it includes virtual disk feature, but it costs less than "PGP whole disk".

I'm confused! :(

Thank you!
