Hi

We have only Asset Managament Suite 7.1 sp1  installed on the box and now we trying to installed Inventory and Software Management Solution 7.1 SP1 but it asking for dependencies. We have Symantec Management Platform 7.1 SP1

That's not asking for dependencies but shoiwng a list of comaptible Solutions and greying out the incomaptible ones.

So if you select Software Management Solution 7.1 SP1 MR1 it will grey out the incompatible non MR1 solutions and components,

Any dependent solutions would be ticked.

In my test environment I having same scenario where SMP having 7.1 SP1 version and AMS also same version and I am able to installed Inventory and other CMS related Solutions with same 7.1 SP1 Version.Then why it is asking in my production environment.

Check the Installed Products list in SIM are the same.

Yes SMP and Solutions are of same SP1 version.

We already installed AMS Suite of SP1 but While going to installed Inventory solution or software management solution 7.1 SP1 it is giving error 

Is the SIM version the same on your production SMP & Test SMP?
