    For password recovary you need ot contact symantec technical support,

    they will connect gateway thorugh root and reset password for you.

    Hi,

    you need to arrange one pc with Internet And putty installed on that

    Symantec will take the remote session  of that PC and access the appliance by SSH and reset password by login with root user.

    I have forgotten the password of my email appaliance. Can you help me. Current version is 7.7.0. Or method elobrated works or not???

    Sounds like you will want to consider an OS restore, you should be on 8.0.3-11
