Endpoint Protection

I have a Win 2003 x64 Server that I just started to manage.

 

It has sysmantec Endpoint Protection on it.

 

I can NOT open up console, I get errors.

If I am to beleive Add/Remove program it is version 11.0.2000.1567.

If I try and use add/remove program it asks for a disk that I do not have.

I tried to install a trial version of Endpoint Protection v12 but it installed and it still asked for disk to uninstall V11.

So I am at square one.

 

I need to uninstall Symantec Endpoint protection V11.0.2000.1567 but it asks for the install disks.

 

Can someone help me get this uninstalled. point me to a download of the program would be best as I am having the same problem with Symantec Backup Exec V.12 I uninstalled it but the onlything removed was the add/remove program entry. I will need to do a manual uninstall of it. One is enough!

 

Or is there a stand alone uninstaller that I can use?

First, you are using very old version of SEPM, 11.0.2000.1567 i.e. SEP 11 RU2 it was released in April 2008.

SEP 12.1 RU4 MP1a is the latest version.

There is an article 'Uninstalling Symantec Endpoint Protection Manager' but it seems you are not able to remove from add/remove programs.

Use Cleanwipe tool, it will remove SEPM from the machine.

To uninstall any program you need some free space, what's the available free space?

To receive cleanwipe you need to contact support. Either create web case or phone call & support can send you the credentials to download the tool.

Thank You. I got it with Cleanwipe from the V12 Trial Tools.
