Win Server 2008 R2 - Prepare for Image Capture takes too long

Morning all,
when I attempt to Prepare my server for a image capture the sysprep.exe takes too long, I can wait for over an hour and the process is still churning away.
This seems to happen on Windows 7 or Server 2008 R2.
Any initial ideas?

Seems that sysprep is waiting
Seems that sysprep is waiting for something, check the sysprep log under c:\windows\panther look at setuperr.log and setupact.log. Also, check the same file under the C:\Windows\Panther\UnattendGC
