I'm pretty sure ~$ is of no use to back up and can be added to client Exclude List.

could you post the entire job detail status?

what is the backup selection? does it all local Drives?

does the backup is using the VSS ? coudl you confirm it from the host properties...--.>Master server---> client attributes..> client name

and see if VSS is selected or not.. if you do not find the client.. add the client and select the VSS. and try the backup

you can also try excluding the temp files..

@Nagalla

Yes its local drives. Backup is using VSS.

Defenitely excluding is my last option, but when i am using VSS these files should be backup up irrespective of temp files.

@Wr

You are right these ~$ files are of no use, but this is producing warning and job status with partialally completed. When I am using VSS in the policy these files should be backed up without any issues.

There were other issues observered on the file server and I had to uninstalled the Netbackup client and reinstall. After reinstall now I am able to perform full backups without any exceptions.

Thank you all for your suggestions.
