Has anyone got a workaround for Win7 drivers that dont work in WinPE4. I have a lot of machines that have a nic that doesn't have Win8 drivers.

    Thanks

    Hi Jannas,

First of all win7 drivers cant be used in WINPE4.0. Can you mention the nic names which doesnt work with win8 drivers.

Yep - i know that - the machine doesn't have Win8 Drivers. Thats why I was wondering if anyone has a workaround that could get me the build on the machines.

    OK, I seen this :

    http://www.symantec.com/business/support/index?page=content&id=HOWTO83750

Deploying an image using USB. My first question is, can the image I deploy from deployment solution be used, or do I need to change the unattend.xml file within this image.

I suppose thi may work as no Win8 driver would be needed if on the USB.

Hi, Tried those, also contacted the manufacturer who sent me drivers for Win8 - they dont work either! Looks like its going to have to be usb boot which is a pain in the ass!

    Thanks anyway.
