Win7 issue - Symantec Endpoint Protection has detected that there are pending system changes that require a reboot.

This issue has been solved. See solution.
Hi all,
I am running into a problem on Windows 7 with an incomplete/corrupted install when I try to install the new MR4 MP1 client.
"Symantec Endpoint Protection has detected that there are pending system changes that require a reboot. Please reboot the system and rerun the installation."
I saw similar issues on Vista but that fix doesn't work for Win7 is the registry key isn't there.
Any assistance on this would be appreciloved.
Thank you and have a great day,
~TITSSN~

Install LU first
If I remember correctly, install Live Update first (LUPDATE.EXE), reboot then install SEP. I have it working on my laptop (64 bit) and a desktop (32 bit).
Worked for me!
This was by far the easiest fix. Kudos RickJDS!
FYI...Fresh install of SEP MR5 on 32 bit system.
What is your meaning of
What is your meaning of "MR5"?
Kudos to RickJDS for an easy
I had to extract the setup.exe to get to the LUUPDATE.EXE because i chose to have the install package in 1 file, but that was not problem.
The actual fix
I'm reposting this in this thread as it worked for me in windows 7 as well as vista. (I couldn't find the reg key either)
1. Extract the Installer file (SEP11_32bit.exe or SEP11_64bit.exe) to a folder so you can access the .msi file
2. Install the Windows SDK
2.Install the Orca editor by double-clicking the Orca.msi file in the C:\Program Files\Microsoft SDKs\Windows 6.0a\bin folder.
3. Click Start, point to Programs, and then click Orca.
4. On the File menu, click Open, and then browse to the Symantec AntiVirus.msi
5. Under the LaunchCondition table change the condition NOT (MsiSystemRebootPending = 1) AND NOT (REBOOTREQUIREDOSAUTOUPDATE = "1")
to NOT (REBOOTREQUIREDOSAUTOUPDATE = "1").
6. Save and Close Orca and then Run the Symantec AntiVirus.msi file to install
Delete the key
The below resolve's the issue.
Delete the registry key: "PendingFileRenameOperations" . It can be found under "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Session Manager".
SEP RU5 released. Install RU5 & enjoy...
