    Hi,

First of all, i'm sorry for my poor English

I'm curently working with Windows 7 , Office 2013 pro  and PGP desktop 9.12 and i use only the netsharing file and folder protection.

I have mount a Virtual Machine with Windows 10, Office 2013 and PGP desktop 12.3.2 , then add my private key in the new machine but i can't open my files...

My txt and PDF files are working fine but when i try to open a Excel or Word file, Office notifies me that my files are corrupted...

I have test to decrypt my file and re encrypt, i cann't open them...

Does Windows 10 and Office 2013 are compatible with PGP desktop 10.3.2 ?

    Thanks for helping.

Windows 10 is only compatible with the newest release, 10.3.2 mp10.  Make sure you are on that version.

Since you mentioned PDF and txt files work, it sounds like your key is working appropriately.  Double-check that you can access those same files on the Windows 7 box with the 9.12 NetShare.

Is the Virtual Machine running on the Windows 7 box, or in a different location, like a remote server?

Is the NetShare hosted on the Windows 7 box, or in a remote location, like a Windows file server?

    Hi,

Thanks for your answer. My PGP version is 10.3.2 MP7... I think my problem come from here.

For the file access, it's the same windows account and if i decrypt the file i can access without any problem.

    I run on a vmware 8 virtual machine (ESX). It's a problem ?

    Thanks for helping.

The VMware should not be a problem.  The only issue here is most likely the PGP version.  10.3.2 mp10 should clear that up for you.
