  • 1.  Windows 10 failed SEP 12.1 not compatible

    Hello can anyone tell me if there's an update for SEP 12.1  so I can upgrade to windows 10 , I don't really want to uninstall it, i've used it for so many years and come to rely on it,   so many people  are having issues with upgrading to windows 10 ,cause of an incampatable issue.  If there is a patch update for SEP 12.1 can someone post a link , I would really appreciate it.

    SEP 12.1 RU6 MP1 is fully conpatible with Windows 10.

    Symantec Endpoint Protection (SEP) 12.1.6 /MP1/MP1a now adds support for Windows 10 operating system.

    And Symantec also supports upgrade of Windows 7 & 8.1 to Windows 10 Upgrade

    Symantec Endpoint Protection (SEP) adds support for Windows 10 with 12.1.6 MP1.For Symantec Endpoint Protection 12.1, a maintenance patch has been released on July 29, 201

    Client only patch is also available to make SEP compatible with Windows 10. These Symantec Endpoint Protection (SEP) client-only patches allow you to upgrade a client from older versions of SEP to SEP 12.1.6.

    If your windows 10 is requesting uninstall of SEP as incompatible here is the work around posted by symantec for SEP 12.1 RU6 MP1 & MP1a
