Windows 2003 Domain Controller Client Installation

Have run across an issue where installation of SEP 12.1 client on Windows 2003 Domain Controller errors stating can only install SEP 11 client.

Fix, workaround?

Can you post a screenshot? It should be supported

Server 2003 should be fine with SEP 12.1 - it is fully supported.

SEP 

SEP 12.1 minimum requirement 2003 SP1,without SP1 it's not support

Windows Server 2003 (32-bit, 64-bit, R2, SP1 or later)

 

System Requirements for Symantec Endpoint Protection, Enterprise and Small Business Editions, and Network Access Control 12.1

I personally have not had this issue, it lies in another group in my company.  I will request a screenshot.

If not SP1 or later than this could be the issue. A screenshot or confirmation of the OS type would be needed.
