  • 1.  Windows 2008 R2 System State backup after upgrade SEP to 12.1.3001.165

    Dear All,

    I'm Facing fatel problem with Backing up Windows 2008 R2 System state , this problem noticed after i upgraded my SEP client ton this DC to 12.1.3001.165

    after checking windows backup logs i got below error :

     

    Error in deletion of [E:\System Volume Information\EfaData\SYMEFA.DB] while pruning the target VHD: Error [0x80070020] The process cannot access the file because it is being used by another process.

    Please help  ASAP

    This was resolved in 12.1 RU3. I would suggest a call to support so they can troubleshoot.

    Hi,

    If possible I would suggest a fresh install of SEP 12.1 RU3 version.Since issue has occurred after an upgrade.

    It's a DC then need to plan downtime because uninstall and reinstall would require minimum one reboot.

    If not helped then log a case with support & support can help with resolution.
