Windows 2008 Shadowcopy Backup partially completes in Netbackup 6.5.4

Hi,

One Windows 2008 client's Shadow copy backup is getting partially successful. I have NBU 6.5.4 Master server on Sunsolaris platform, This client has installed with Netbackup agent 6.5.4. Getting below error message in Job detail.

 

18/03/2010 04:44:27 - Warning bpbrm(pid=2207) from client lcy-esmgt-tm1-bkp: WRN - can't open file: System State:\Automated System Recovery\Volumes\Volume{e6216c92-8ed6-11dd-9bf2-00237dd7bcd6} (WIN32 536935992: Unknown error)
18/03/2010 04:44:28 - Error bpbrm(pid=2207) from client lcy-esmgt-tm1-bkp: ERR - Error encountered while attempting to get additional files for System State:\
18/03/2010 04:47:05 - end writing; write time: 00:36:53
the requested operation was partially successful(1)

Also attached BPBKAR log file with high verbosity..Please check & assist me to resolve this issue.

What version of 2k8 are you using?

R2 is not yet supported with 6.5.4.  There is a compatibility issue with the VSS writers.  If it is R2 you are using, the incompatibility is noted in the technote below:

Having the same issues with

Having the same issues with NetBackup 7 and W2K8/R2 servers in a cluster.  Are the servers you are having problems with in a cluster at all?

I have the same issue on Windows 2008 R2 x64 and Nb 7.
Have you found a solution ?
