Hi ,

I'm palnning to install a Hyper-V cluster on Windows 2012 r2 servers.

Will i be able to backup the virtual machines (Hyper-V agent backup)  with BackupExec 2010 r3 sp3 ?

The virtual machines OS will be Windows 2008r2.

Thanks,

This probabely would not be supported using BE 2010 R3. There is a blog that was published yesterday, I would suggest you to read that

Edit: Verbatim from the Blog

"Windows Server 2012 R2 support – what’s the plan?

Congratulations to the Microsoft team on the GA of Windows Server 2012 R2! Naturally, you want to know if Backup Exec 2012 R2 will support it. What I can tell you right now is that this platform is on our radar and without question, a top priority for our team. My plan is to provide you with an update on Windows Server 2012 R2 support in the next 5 to 6 weeks."
