Windows 7 64 bit stuck in loop after DeployAnywhere
I am having problems trying to image a system with Windows 7 using the DeployAnywhere system since the hardware is marginally different. I have tried this with making an image and enabling Sysprep to run and also taking the machine off the domain first. I have been able to image a machine with identical hardware without issues but as I stated, this is for a machine that is slightly different (HP versus the Dell the image was taken from).
The DeployAnywhere process returns Success when performing it as I have all correct drivers for Windows 7 64 bit for the target hardware available. When rebooting I get through some stages and it just sits at 'Setup is Preparing Your Computer for First Use'. Eventually I have rebooted the machine (after a few hours of apparently nothing happening) and then the machine is stuck in a loop of 'Windows Cannot Complete Setup. Reboot to try again'. Rebooting in Safe mode yields 'Windows Cannot Complete Setup in Safe Mode - Reboot'.
So, seems that DeployAnywhere does not work with Windows 7 at present. Windows 7 is just to fragile. The procedure I'm using worked fine for Windows XP.
I am using Ghost Solution Suite 11.5.1.2266 (2.5.1 ?)

Deploy Anywhere (DA) has tested against Windpws 7 64 bit operating system and found to be working fine. To investigate your issue, could you please provide the machines detail (Dell and HP)? At the first cut it looks like driver issue but can't comment on it since no data is available with us. Also send the output of DA after running.

Deploy Anywhere would work....
Hi,
As Nitin has pointed out, it would be best if you could send us the system information report of the HP and the Dell Machine and we could help you in getting the right drivers. You could also send us the error log that would have been created on the ghost console. This would help us in getting to know the issue in a better manner and give you the best solution.
Thanks,
Venkatanathan

I am having similar issues trying to take a Windows 7 x64 Enterprise edidtion image that I created on on a Dell Vostro 3700 and Ghosting it onto a HP Probook 4525s. I would really appreciate any assistance I could get!
