  • 1.  Windows 7 and DS HII

    I am looking into deploying windows 7 using Altiris. I am currently running DS 6.9 SP3. Does anyone know where I can find information on creating a HII for Windows 7? Also is DS 7.1 or CMS 7.1 out?

    CMS 7.1 won't be out until Q3/Q4 2010.  CMS 7.0 SP2 was just released 10 days ago.  DeployAnywhere would be your Windows 7 tool, but I can't imagine it's working very well, based on the newness of both DS 7.1, DeployAnywhere, and Windows 7.

    Does DS 7.1 have PXE in it?

    Oh yeah.  It's got PXE all over it.
