  • 1.  Windows 7 client with Dagent not showing up in DS 6.9 SP4 console

    I have a Windows 7 client upon which I installed the dagent via Remote Agent install.  I've checked the configuration on that client, but it doesn't show up in the DS console.  Any ideas?

    On the machine that is having the issue, do you see the little "a" icon by the clock?  If so, can you double-click on it?  It should give you the dagent status (i.e. a normal client will be in the "Client Record Updated" state).  This status might give you a clue to if there is a problem with the agent, the server, or in between.

    Have DS set to hide tray icons, but opened DagentConfig and all looks correct there.

    Any firewall or AntiVirus blocking communications?

    Hello

    I am seeing a similar issue at the moment and have noticed if I go to the Win7 machine -> DaggentConfig.exe -> client settings -> security and turn off "Encrypt session communication with Deployment Server" the machine will show up in the console. turn it back on again and it goes offline in the console.
