Windows 7 Deployment.

I have 300 users all of them are windows xp.now windows 7 is released and i want to install it on all the pc.doing that through cd takes a lot of time.is there a way to deploy windows 7 on multiple users.
kindly note that I am using Altiris.
can i make image for one windows 7 and install it on multiple users but once.
can altiris help me in such issue?
what about the applications which have licenses? such as autocad,etabs.
