We had one user that could only see one mapped drive to their personal drive but they should be getting about 8-9 drive letters.  I noticed that Symantec wasn't getting an update and had a yellow exclamation point.  I uninstalled Symantec EndPoint Protection  and reinstalled Symantec Endpoint Protection 11.0.6200.754 and I also installed about 73 Windows updates for the workstations.

After rebooting both times the pc still can't see the other mapped drives.  Has anyone else come across this with Windows 7 and Symantec 11?  Is there any way to fix this?

There could a possblity that there is a threat on the machine. Update the defs and run a Full System scan in the safe mode.

I will scan it.  Is 11.0.6200.754 the latest version of SEP?

Yes, but make sure you have the latest virus defintion. That is more important.

I scanned the computer with the latest definitions and it didn't find any viruses in safe mode.  Also scanned with Malwarebytes and Superantispyware in safe mode and didn't find anything.

    Try this..

I just tried this fix and it didn't work.  I rebooted after this one also and logged in again.  I also logged in with two other accounts and found I only got the h: drive on my admin account and another admin account.  Strange.

Had the same issue. Mapped drives were mysteriously dropping.

Upgraded both Win7 clients and Server 2008 clients to RU6 MP3 and the problem stopped.

Check the release notes for RU6 MP3 but this may fix your issue.

So is 11.0.6200.754 the latest SEP client?

    No.

    The version you're on is RU6 MP2.

    The latest is RU6 MP3 (11.0.6300)

We updated the SEP client to 11.0.6300.803 today and rebooted but the computer still is only showing 1 of 9 mapped drives.

I think I'm just going to copy the user's data to separate folder then delete the user's c:\users\profile and create a new one and see if the drive's come up.
