Windows 7 is unsupported

Hello,

I've trying to install Ghost Solution Suite 12.5 on Windows 7 professional 64Bit, and it just says it's not support with this operating system, which is fair enough because windows 7 is quite new but i've tried setting the compatibility option to Windows XP with service pack 3 then tried Vista with Service pack 2 but still says the same thing.

Which File do i need to set as compatible, i just did the setup.exe in the install folder.

Thanks
James

OS difficulties

James,

Based on my testing of the compatibility mode features in Windows 7, I'm not convinced this is going to work. Ghost does an OS check, and, though you might have it set to compatibility, it is still going to balk at the version of WIndows. I have had similar experiences outside of work trying to install games on my daughter's new Windows 7 netbook, and, though it is different software, I believe the environmental factors are largely the same. The best workaround I can think of, though it is technically unsupported, would be to set up a VMWare virtual machine, install a supported OS (XP, 2003, etc) and then install Ghost onto that.
