"Support for Windows 8 and Windows Server 2012 is introduced with the release of SEP 12.1 Release Update 2.  SEP 12.1 RU2 is the earliest supported build which is compatable with Windows 8 and Server 2012."

based on that case then I shall wait until RU2 comes out ?

is there any date when that is ?

• Symantec Endpoint Protection 11.x (can be upgraded to enterprise version only)

In case you see SEP 12.1 RU2 available for download then it might be in English Edition only.

For local languages you might have to wait for few more days. (Probably till 30th Nov'12)
