    Hi,

one of my customer has bought a bunch of Dell XPS 12.
Now we've to reinstall all the devices with Windows 8.1 as a scripted installation.

First of all, I've deleted all partitions (with diskpart)

Second step I've recreated the EFI / MSR and Data Partition (with the create Partition Task in Altiris).

Next Step, Install Windows 8.1 with the default unattend file. The Installation started (copy Files ect.).

Now the first reboot is required. I've canceld the WinPE with an "Exit" command. The system has restarted and stopped directly while showing the Post screen.

The Dell XPS 12 shows only the DELL Bootlogo, nothing else. I can't enter the Bios or the boot Options.

    Has anyone a simmilar issue?
What's the right way to depoy a Windows 8.1 (scripted) with UEFI?

What happens? Have I done something wrong?

Do I need to use the bcedit.exe command to assign the Partitions in WinPE?

    Regards

    First news on this.

    1. I removed the Harddisk.

    2. Clean the disk with Diskpart again (connected at another system)

    3. Insert the HDD

    4. UEFI and the BootOptions are available.

--> Now I've to look for the right config.  :)
