Endpoint Protection

Hi,

We had installed SEP 11 RU5 on few Windows XP Embedded SP3 appliance found that Scheduled Scan or Manual Scan could not initiated because of the disk space issue.  So we had trail-out SEP for Windows XP Embedded on one of the appliances.  Later we found the solution for Scanning issue by resetting the TEMP/TMP evars to C: drive (it was configured to use RAM drive).  So we decided to rolled back the trailed appliance from SEP for XP Embedded to SEP 11 RU5 but installation was not successful and received Windows Application Event ID: 11708.  We opened case at Enterprise Tech Support and got Cleanwipe.  Even after we run cleanwipe we still could not reinstall SEP.   We would appreciate it if anyone could provide a solution for that.

What is the exact error message with 11708

Pete,

I had already gone thru the article and run both cleanwipe and Windows Installater Cleanup utilites.  That did not help in my case.
