    Hi,

Last Friday I turned on MS14-021 for the IE zero day vulnerability. Over the weekend I was able to monitor the stats for the updates within this bulletin. Now I am only seeing two updates within that bulletin and those numbers are lower than the ones I got on Monday. I got a NS 7.1 and I am at a loss as to where the rest of the updates are in this bulletin. Anyone got any ideas?

I am seeing the same exact behavior except it's only showing one update for IE8. They were all there over the weekend. I am using 7.1 as well.

I was able to deploy the update but the vulnerability report now shows 13 applicable systems out of 2000 Windows 7 sysems and a handful of Windows XP. It shows 2 Windows XP installed and nothing else.

I did, however, deploy a new Windows 7 system last night and it successfully patched with 14-021 but does not show in the report as applicable or installed.

Can someone up the food chain look at this or do we need to open a case?

As an update, the Applicable report identifies only Windows XP, Windows 8 and Server 2012 R2. There is no reference to Windows 7, Server 2003 or 2008.

MS14-021 was mostly superseded by MS14-029.  If you have Patch configured to automatically supersede this would explain your reduced total applicability counts.
