In a Windows environment, what differences if any should there be between a SEP install on a (XP)Client and on a Server(2003)?

Server 2003 should not run

Server 2003 should not run Truscan (PTP) .

Edited to reflect the correct information as stated by other Symantec employees.

NTP will run perfectly well on a Server 2003.

It is an enterprise grade firewall, feel free to install it on any server OS. (with firewall rules of course)

 Basically there are three

Basically there are three components in SEP

1: AV/AS - basic component needed

2: PTP - It is not desgined to work on server OS.It will install fine on a server OS, but always stay off.Hence its better not to install it at first place.

3: NTP - It is the firewall feature of SEP.You can install it on server OS without any issues. But we would recomment you to first test it and then install on a production server.
