Hi,

Can someone tell me if Windows 2012 is supported in NS 7.1 as a Site Server? I tried setting up a Windows 2012 server as one, but was unable to do so. If there is a TECH or HOWTO article describing if it's supported or not can someone post a link.

It's not supported as a site server and won't be supported as the SMP server in 7.5 either.  You'll still need to use 2008R2.

Any official documentation from Symantec support confirming this?

No documentation has been officially released for 7.5 but trust me when I say that the requirements are the same for 7.1 SP2.  Other than 7.5 supports SQL 2012.

Your link describes Windows 2012 as a supported client.  The original poster wants to install NS or site server components ON a Windows 2012 platform.  This is not supported.

While there is alot of guys out here at Symantec Connect Community eager to help I was looking for something from Symantec. One of our admins just finished creating a base image that would be deployed to sites where existing equipment is being refreshed. I just find it hard to believe Symantec can't issue a release of some kind.

Don't get me wrong I believe what you guys are saying. Sometimes management wants it to come from Symantec, not from a community board.

This shows supported platforms for both the SMP and Site servers.

And since 7.5 is not yet released there won't be official comment on it until it's released but as I'm in the Beta program I can tell you that 2012 is not supported as the platform OS.

The information that High Tower provided is correct.  ITMS 7.1 SP2 does not support the use of Windows Server 2012 for site servers or the SMP server itself.  The same is true with respect to the ITMS 7.5 release, which is currently in beta.
