Does anyone have any information or know if it is possible to upgrade from a windows server 2003 32bit machine to windows server 2008 64bit machine?

Is there any type of migration tool that may help us during this transition?

Any tips / knowledge is greatly appreciated.

TIA,

SN

See the Supported upgrade

See the Supported upgrade paths on MS readme at -http://download.microsoft.com/download/e/6/3/e63cf2f6-7f71-450b-8e4a-dace88e99456/readme.htm

Note

With the exception of Windows Server 2008 for Itanium-Based Systems, this table applies equally to 32-bit and x64-based versions. However, cross-platform upgrades (32-bit to 64-bit or the reverse) are not supported.

Sorry for the confusion. We

Sorry for the confusion. We aren't directly upgrading this machine. We are actually moving to another machine and I was wondering if there was some way I could export the SEPM data and import back onto the new machine and if there were any conflicts with going from 32 to 64bit per SEPM?
