Hi All,
We are trying to install SEP 12.1 client on a Windows server 2003 machine on which an application called StorageCentral alreay installed. During the installation process the server hangs unable to proceed. It needs to be start in safe mode and remove the SEP 12.1 client then only it will be back to normal. We identified the same application is causing this abnormality. We have excluded the installation folder from scanning. Still the problem persists. Only the Virus and Spyware Protection component is included in the packeage.
Thanks in advance.

Hi,
What sep componets do you have installed ?
Try to disable NTP..
As I mentioned earlier I have only enabled the Virus and Spyware component
Please Re-Run Management server configuration wizard from start all programs SEPM Management server configuration wizard
& then try to deploy the client package
OR..
Please check this article.
can you uninstall StorageCentral and install SEP and later install StorageCentral?
@pete_4u2002 - It's the same.
hi,
Did you check what's process take high memory ?
It's the sep client update latest defination ?
Try to export new package and check...
I have tried with multiple packages and the result is same. At last if we go back to SAV 10, it's fine.
Did you try SEP 11 Client version ?
If it's run working fine after you can upgrade sep client version
I have not tried this. Let me check and get back.
