Windows System Assessment Scan failed - Exit Code: 4

Hello everyone,

 

Would you please advise if you ever encountered Windows System Assessment Scan failure with Exit Code 4 and what would be the solution, please.

When I saw this error on all of my clients, I found that the last patch management MetaData Import Task had failed to run for whatever reason on my server.  In my case, thought it was a network glitch so I manually ran the task after which Windows System Assessment Scan successfully completed its run on my clients.

Hi Charlie,

This exit code may be caused by different issues. For the beginning, could you please check Agent logs on affected machine - probably some informative error message is shown there.
