Created: 03 Oct 2012 | Updated: 10 Oct 2012 | 2 comments
I have a number of clients that are planing to migrate/update their encrpyted Win XP client running SEE 8.x to Win 7, is decrpyting, installing Win7 and re-encrypting the only the path that they should follow?
Thanks

It depends entirely on how you're intending to do the Win7 installation to be honest.
If you're using an imaging tool (any you don't need any data/details from the WinXP installation) you can potentially skip decryption entirely. Just push down the Win7 image then install SEE and encrypt.
