Are you booting the machine to Pre-OS before creating image and if so what is the Pre-OS used (PCDOS or WINPE).

What are the steps you follow .

If you are running Ghost32 under OS then it will not work as hot imaging is not supported for Server OS

    Hi ,

As Maneesh said , server OS cannot taken by Hot imaging.

If it is a normal imaging..

When you are using a Ghost boot disk by default the Ghost (ghost32.exe) launches automatically - in a separate window. This will lock the disk so it cannot be accessed by GDISK32.

The solution is to close the GHOST32 window.
