    Hi,

    I am trying to upgrade Altiris 7.1 to include the winpe4 from the support document http://www.symantec.com/business/support/index?page=content&id=HOWTO85100

    when i click the the download link it prompts me for a username and password which i enter from the supplied link, but the download timesout or says the file does not exists. I have tried from different machines and locations but they all fail. Can anyone download this or know where i can get it from? I have tried an ftp client as well as the direct link and get the same result.

    Experiencing same issue as well. 

     

    Also any way to see what actually changed in the article?

    I see the timestamp changes but no log or any notation of what is different ,  would like ot know if the actual zip file changes.

    maybe they renamed the file and forgot to update the link. I can connect to the sub directory but they prevent you from listing files which makes it difficult to guess. I need to upgrade to winpe4 as we are trying to deploy some new dell laptops that do not have the vista network card drivers available.

    I get the ftp login prompt, but when i try to login I get a "cannot display page" error.

    Can log in but then the file is not found

    "550 /pub/support/outgoing/00000001/Winpe4upgrade.zip: No such file or directory"

    Hi All,

    I've just checked this out and have verified that we need to refresh credentials for the download link. As I am not certain as to the exact time this will be resolved, I'd suggest to try again....fairly soon. This was reported with a high degree of importance, so should be resolved ASAP.
