Is there any way to remove prompt:

"Please press F12 for network boot"

after the machine loads the winpe image?

I searched teh web for a bit, and was only able to find out that you need a pxeboot.n12 file ? and you ahve to swap it out?

Thanks,

Chris

If you disable your PXE Boot in the BIOS that should make it.

Could you explain that a bit further?

My understanding was that the f12 I see after I choose winpe at the Altiris blue screen PXE boot menu, is from the winpe image?

The only reason I believe that is because neither DOS and *nix ask you to hit f12 for network boot.

Wouldn't disabling PXE boot in the BIOS of the machine mean that it then cannot boot from the NIC card?

Thanks

Chris
