Wise installation studio 9 professional compiler log

Created: 17 Sep 2013 | 1 comment

Hi there,

is possible to get some log from compilation? Compilation on build server has from time to time some error "exited with code 33102"

I know that it is possible because WISE can`t access some file but not sure about it... I found that wise compiler make a file .ws~ in working directory so probably this is a log file, but how can I read it? When I use notepad then I see just some paths to file and then a lot of strange characters....

Also if I open it in hex editor... just paths.... and strange content...

Thanks for your help

There is no compiler log, and I believe the ws~ file is a temporary binary file generated during compilation.

If during compilation any of your source files are "in use" by another process then the compilation will fail, so if you are compiling from a running copy of the application, make sure the application is closed and any services are stopped.
