Hello all.

Does anyone or has anyone used the Enterprise Management Server in Wise Package Studio?

If so, just looking for people's feedback.

I'm running into an issue where the Current Target Date field is greyed out in the Project Management tab of a newly created project.  I created the project as a member of the WPS Administrator group and am then attempting to change that field as the same user but it is greyed out.

Any ideas?

This is Wise Package Studio 8.0 btw...

Is this a recent purchase?

Don't know if Symantec still do it, but Wise offered some free support if the product was recently purchased. If you have a support agreement, then you can open a support call on this one.
There are few users of the Enterprise Management Server in WPS, based on the number of postings we get on this subject in the Wise forums (I can't recall the last time I saw one).
However, when the WPS8 environment was set up - did you dedicate an SQL server for use with WPS or did you use an existing SQL server where you might not have been granted DBAdmin access for the database configuration?
Wrong permissions in the database can cause all sorts of weird errors.
One other thing to check is whether the client install on the machine you are working from has an appropriate license allocated to it. A WPS standard license is quite restricted in what it can do in WPS, regardless of the login account that is being used.
