WiseScript Editor - Ever going to be udpated for x64?

Created: 12 Mar 2010 • Updated: 13 Sep 2010 | 1 comment

Is the WiseScript Editor getting phased out or are there plans to update the editor in the future to include support on x64?  Our company uses the editor as a wrapper for our installations and it would be beneficial for us to know if any subsequent versions of Package Studio will include a new version of WiseScript Editor supporting x64.  With the move to Win7 x64 Enterprise on the horizon this information would be extremely helpful.  Currently I am left with having to write a whole library of user defined actions just to get some of the features working correctly on the x64 versions of Windows.

Thanks,
-Steve

There is some talk of updating the wisescript editor to handle 64 bit operations, but there are no timescales and hence no guarantees.
