    What version of SEP are you trying to install and what is the OS?

    SEP version is 12.1. OS is Windows XP SP3 32 bit

    Was there any previous version of SEP or another AV on it?

    Have you tried running the SymHelp tool to see if any errors come up?

    No. I have twice tried to install on a clean OS. Even on a different computer cases. It did not help.

    The utility will try tomorrow.

    Are you directly running the install from E  drive? can you copy the content and run it from C drive.

    Can you try installing any previous version of SEP other than this one?

    I would first try to install the client as unmanaged running directly from CD1 of SEP folder
