    I am trying to install SEP64 11.0 on a brand new Windows 7 computer and it gets to the end then rolls back everything and returns the error "the wizard was interrupted before symantec endpoint protection could be completely installed"

    I've tried disabling Windows Defender, Disabling UAC. Didn't change anything.

    Any help is appreciated.

    What's the exact 11.x version?

    Run the liveupdate setup first to install it than install SEP

    LU_Register_Decomposer_ABI.611D9A69_39FC_4998_998E_1ECADF28A979 returned actual error code 1603 (note this may not be 100% accurate if translation happened inside sandbox)

    You're using an old buggy version which is why this is happening...

    setup.ini shows version 11.0.1000.1375

    Installing LiveUpdate first worked

    Just so you know, that was one of the first versions of SEP 11.x and is not supported on WIn7. Honestly, I can't believe it installed at all!
